The Amedico Diagnostics histopathology laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility specializing in the analysis of biopsies of all kinds and also includes the divisions of cytopathology and immunohistochemistry. Facilitates the provision of diagnostic tests for specimens consisting of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens and all other organ systems of the human body. These include pap smear analysis, body fluid assessments, and diagnostic examination of fine needle aspirations.

The histopathology department is strengthened by a team of highly experienced and competent senior consultants. A dedicated and honest team of exceptionally trained technical staff also supports the division. Amedico Diagnostics' histopathology reports are of high international standards and are affordable.

The laboratory guarantees short delivery times. Rapid processing and reporting is performed for critical cases such as transplants and other life-threatening conditions.

In combination with molecular biology and cytogenetics, we aim to provide the highest quality of diagnostics in line with national and international standards with the concept of holistic reporting for our patients. Constant interactions with referring partners and physicians ensure the most accurate and uninterrupted reporting. Samples including slides, tissue, paraffin wax blocks are stored according to regulatory policy for further testing and re-evaluation, if applicable.

Specialized tests such as immunohistochemistry for cancer markers including estrogen, progesterone and its 2 neu receptors, reflexes on the FISH test, cluster differentiation markers for lymphomas are some of the specialties of the department.
