Diseases such as diabetes, heart attacks, infertility, thyroid problems, cystic fibrosis, and meningitis can all be diagnosed by examining body fluids including blood, urine, and cerebrospinal fluid.

The Clinical Biochemistry division of Amedico is a new generation laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. It provides comprehensive clinical laboratory services in the broad domain of clinical chemistry, therapeutic drug monitoring, endocrinology and clinical toxicology. The department performs a number of esoteric tests such as the identification of hemoglobin variants and the quantification of HbA1c.
